I had been hoping to have a big ol’ party to celebrate our fifth anniversary, but that will have to wait.

I had a week before the renovation team arrived, and as I sat there painting my furniture (and wondering if the bugs biting me were from the carpet or the river), I thought, “Hmm… I wonder if we could expose the bricks on that wall…” Also, note the dropped ceiling.
It was smelly.
